Aunt Doris-Mom's Page

Most of the pictures I have of mom are with other people.
Most.
Like this next one.

That's Mom with Aunt Bert.

Aunt Bert (Lambertha, named for the legendary druggist, Lammert Zijm),
was Mom's cousin.  She was one of Tante Jana and Uncle Dick's kids.

Mom and Aunt Bert stayed pretty tight,
I remember visiting her often
when she, Uncle Mike, Mickey, and Bobby,
lived in the Athenia section of Clifton NJ.

Well, I'm sure everyone wants to know
whether the flappers ("You're the Cat's Pajamas!")
really played ukeleles ("Hubba-Hubba")
and did those silly things ("Oh You Kid!").

Yes.

Aren't you glad we cleared that up?

I know you are.

I do wish I knew the story here.

I know you couldn't get my mother
nearer to a plane than the parking lot of the airport,
yet there she is, surrounded by plane guys
in front of a plane.

That thing looks like it has bicycle tires!

Mom and Aunt Ann

The Bathing Beauties

I don't know where this
was taken, but as usual, the two of them are together.

Quite the sexy little pots, no?

Some days
you just have to stop
and do something

and fun.

Like posing
on a post.

And some days it's just better to bundle up and try to keep warm.
